MP3 Player w/Equilizer

I want to stop using my iPod for listening to music and start using my LG G3 for my tunes. I have tried a bunch of MP3 players and none have come close to the sound the iPod produces. I am not interested in a player that has a ton of online listening capabilities, I just want a player that will play my mp3's and produce great sound like my iPod does.

What are you using and why?

I'm using the stock app because I'm lazy and yes, I still use my iPod. I find it easier because it's smaller and I only use it for listening to music working out, so for me, the iPod's still the answer.

I have both Neutron and Poweramp installed on my g3, they are both very capable music players as long as you pay for them, just search the play store. If you are rooted then give Viper4Android a go, I guarantee it will blow your mind if you like sound mod tinkering!

I second Poweramp app. The equalizer is very nice.

Been using jetAudio Plus with its built-in EQ or you can get the app, Equalizer for all your device audio needs.

Poweramp is a very good one. I try everything I hear about but so far always go back to it. The equalizer and tone controls make the difference for me.

Check out V4A if you're rooted. If not, PowerAmp is pretty good. Neutron's also good but UI is terrible.
