Multi touch keyboard

Im on .588 and having a problem with the multitouch keyboard. It will let me type one word then the keyboard disappears and i click on the text box and type another word, same thing. This happens when typing a text, facebook, anything. But the swype keyboard works. Any suggestions? Ive done several battery pulls trying to see if that would help.

Does your menu button work properly? Holding the button causes the keyboard to open/close, so my first thought is that there is a problem there.

Yes, the menu button works fine. Swype keyboard works fine also. It's just the multi-touch keyboard that seems to be crazy.

Multi-touch sucks the big one on GB. Use Steve Lin's Gingerbread Keyboard. It's boss(my new fav word).

Theres a reasonably priced paid version too, if your the type that likes to support developers that make apps as good as this one

Or possibly try Better Keyboard 8....I tried most of the others found this one to be very user friendly.
