Multi view update on December 27th!

For those that haven't received the update are you getting a message that says "System Update Interrupted"? That's all I keep getting.

Remember this was just a rumor by Engadget.
AT&T never made an official announcement, people over at XDA are saying it's a false rumor.

nevermind that was a couple hours ago, people are starting to get the update now.

I'm running Youtube and Twitter at the same time, GENIUS..!!!
I had to change my date (to next day) and got the update... So I guess, don't change your date too far if your not getting the update...

Also, someone noted that the 'sync' button is gone. I think this was already announced to be out the door in a later update. I don't recall why, but I don't recall it being a big deal. Perhaps, it was superseded/deemed unnecessary.

Is the "sync" still available in email settings? Im using roadrunner.

Set mine to the 31st and nothing. I'm just giving up for now. I'm in an area that att hasnt even bothered to bring off edge yet. I suspect it will be a couple of days before I can get it.

Im on stock ROM but rooted. I checked for the update and it download the update fine. But after a reboot, got a "install interrupted". Do I need to unroot before updating?

The first note that I got said that everyday for 14 days but the second note has been great. Updated today too. For those not getting it try turning off the wifi

My friend in the next town got his update today. I have nothing yet.

But I have an important question...

Is AT&T only checking its servers once per day? I check and I get the infamous SOFTWARE UPDATED INTERRUPTED. And then a message that I can check again in another 24 hours.

The only way I can get the phone to check the update servers again is to disable auto date and time. I then manually move the phone date up a day and check the software update again.

I have done it so many times today that I am now up to January 7, 2013.

Is there an easier way to check for software updates rather than doing this method?

I was checking with *#8736364# earlier and it said nothing but I turned off the wifi set my phone to the 30th and changed to Pacific time and worked like a champ

I successfully downloaded the new updated through WiFi, and there was no interruption. Maybe it's 'cause many users are trying to get the update at the same time, that's why???

FINALLY got it.

Have to long press and hold on the multitasking tab to get it to move!

Interesting question. Im still new to this all. Right now I have 3 pages and my apps are on those pages. Based on the pict you posted that is no longer the case? They are now on the side in a app bar? How many apps does the bar hold? And does it apply only to the home page? Are the other pages still as were prior to the update?

Got it. Had to set my date ahead a day then go it right away. Awesome! Its not a

rumor for everyone questioning it.

Had to reset clock to check for software more than once in 24 hours, but after checking twice my upgrade started downloading. Downloaded fine over Wi-Fi. Working great now;

I have NEVER seen that before in the dozens of videos I've seen. Those were either rooted phones with custom skins or something else you were seeing.

Of is correctly implemented, it is designed so that you can move it around, which ever side/top or bottom fits you. You also should be able to use any application with it. But it seems like they haven't got it right and is just the first version of it.

Tsk! After all this time, you would think they could at least do that. Back to my clean...
