Music From PC Won't Sync

I have posted this in other threads, but haven't gotten any help. I have been able to sync downloaded music from my PC to the GN. The problem is trying to sync music that I copied to my PC (windows 7) from a CD. I am using windows media player. Can anyone help?

Transferring files via USB cable doesn't seem to work. Download AirSync for DoubleTwist ($4.99) but it worked for me.

Have you tried google music?

I need my music on my phone, I believe Google Music is cloud-based? I mostly listen when I'm flying and have no cell service.

Yes it is cloud based but you can pin music so its there when you have no connection

Hmm. I don't seem to have a problem dragging & dropping mp3's from pc to Nexus. I'm running W7 64.

I think that is the problem...I was able to sync mp3 files, but the Cds that I downloaded are .wma files.

I am having a similar issue. I tried to see how easy it would be to put music on my GN from my laptop Windows media player. I connected via USB and synced 2 cds to GN. I for the life can not find where the heck they are on the device. When I tried to download the songs again it said files already added on the device. Please help. I did download doubletwist on my GN for my Itunes but haven't tried that yet.
