I don't play music all that often on my phone, but tried it today after Samsung Music updated or downloaded on my phone. Now when I open that app or PowerAmp, neither one can see the music I have in my Music folder on the SD card. Is there anything I can do to fix this? If so, I need specific details as I'm a little bit limited in knowledge on these phones.

Are the files still There? Open up the my files app and see if they are. Your answer will let me know the next step

Only shows internal storage. I know I used to have Music that I played from my SD card in the past which I had copied onto the card. At the moment my SD card is not showing up?

My phone did do an update today, wondering if that could have messed something up? AT&T

Sometimes the phone gets all wonky after an update so the best thing to do would be to turn off the phone then simultaneously press on the following buttons: volume UP button > power button > home button until you see blue lettering appear at the top left hand corner. Then once the menu pops up, using the volume DOWN rocker, select the "wipe cache Partition" by using the power button, then the down volume button again to select yes with the power button once more. Once that does its thing, it should automatically be selected on reboot phone so you will just need to press on the power button and voila you will have successfully cleared cache. That usually fixes whatever issue your phone may have

Thanks for the suggestion Iva_LadyDiCaprio98. I tried that but sadly did not help. Been on the phone for about an hour and they are sending me a new phone.
