music player doesn't detect new files

when i upload music files to the sd card, the default music player doesnt detect the new files.

i normally hop on my wifi, use es file explorer to transfer the files (instead of mounting the sd card to a pc and transferring)

how do i get it to recognize the new files without rebooting the phone?

Try SDMount Widget. It refreshes your sd card w/out a reboot.
