Music randomly pauses when plugged into something

Whenever I plug in my phone to my car to play music or use any aux cord, the music randomly pauses sometimes and I have to go and press play again. It just started doing this. Can someone help me?

Hmm, are you using the stock music player?

If so, try a different one like the new Google Music player in the market.

Are you running a task killer? If you are, I'd recommend not using it, because it will more than likely stop a music player or try to pause it to save memory.

Other than that, it really could be any number of things. If you can, I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling it to see if you just had some type of setting incompatibility messing things up.

Sometimes it puses when notifications arrive, specially on stock music player from HTC Sense.
Check the settings for the player on this, or just download Winamp. If you could afford a $5 app, I would recomend Power Amp, which will auto resume music playback when conected to audio cable.
