I originally was an apple fan. Now I'm an android fan. What are your must have apps that are practical. Please share.

Some helpful ones for day-to-day life are KeyRing, RetailMeNot, GasBuddy, CarHome Ultra, Shush!. Milk is great for streaming music, and you can borrow books from your local library through OverDrive.

Zooper Widget Pro for awesome widgets, make your own or downloaded from Play Store.

Amazon App Store for free app daily, apps from promo codes are useless on Android they're gone when you uninstall them or wipe your phone they not tied to your account in Play Store

Best app Market and other alternatives for finding/discovering apps. Play Store is not good.

Adblock plus to disable ads in apps. There's version that don't need root.

Dodol launcher, free launcher with tons of awesome themes.

TuneIn radio, PowerAmp, Evernote, Umano reader, maybe app to use NFC tags. This summer HTC Zoe and other HTC apps will be to download for us too.

Can someone explain how Nova Launcher (or any launcher) works ?

For instance, if I installed then decided I want to go back to stock (TouchWiz on S5)
do I need to reconfigure my UI settings, etc. Essentially what is lost in
terms of my phone settings, etc.

Nope. You can easily revert back to stock. Nova Launcher is basically just an app.

If you are on a Samsung phone then Milk is a must, also Nova prime.

hahaha what viruses are u talking about utorrent it's a app i use it to download stuff from private torrent trackers ,i can see downloading all kinde of crap from public trackers if u don't know what u doing...but at the end this is still user fault .....

Music, movies whatever. I've been using it for a long time and have never had one issue with any android device. Get a chrome cast, buy the full version of all cast and u my friend........have a winning combo.

Oh and a large SD card won't hurt.
