Just recently learned of Bluemail for people who use email other than Gmail. The stock client is ugly and lacks autocomplete for emails used in the past.

I use Hangouts for IM and SMS but Evolve and Textra are worlds better than the stock SMS client.

I also use the Google Camera app on my Note 3 but I don't recommend it for the S5 as the stock app takes better photos on the S5 (my wife has the S5).

And you can store all of your podcasts on the SD card with Beyondpod. Love it!
