Can I automate Bixby to do this or do I need to ask each time. Why is IFTT a joke?
Yes you can automate completely with Bixby routines. This is just one of the many I've set up. It's part off Samsung software so in my opinion it uses less resources and battery. You can also have multiple triggers and multiple actions.

IFTT makes it really difficult to have multiple triggers. You can do it but you have to add other software. It's just not as seamless.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of using the Bixby button, talking to Bixby, Bixby anything lol. I've got it completely disabled.
But the routines can still be used and I think they're pretty awesome.

Why use either when Android can do that by itself, just by enabling "Turn on WiFi automatically" and maybe "Wi-Fi power saving mode" in the Advanced WiFi settings?
Enabling those settings in WiFi are known battery hogs. Try it, and then check your Android system battery stats

Ok I just set up a couple of Bixby routines. When home turn on WiFi. When driving turn off WiFi. Wondering how it determines when you're driving? I like this routine business. Reminds me of Tasker without the learning curve and resources.

I tried this and it didn't work. I set it up at work and it didn't turn on at home though it did turn it off. I probably did something wrong.

You need to launch it. I. E. My car *routine " does its macro when I launch(tap) its icon. Mine is set for Car off wifi, launch maps and turn on GPS, and launch Amazon music and the keep screen on app.

I'm very impressed so far coming from the Note 9 to the 10+. I'm on the snapdragon, power mode is set to optimized and have the screen at WQHD+. Screenshot_20190830-212639_Settings.jpeg

I think it's the first time ever that I've had 2 days usage or more between charges at work., I've had 2 days usage at home a few times with Note 9 but I'm always near a charger at home.

Now that the battery is settling down it's showing its true potential

My Galaxy Note 10 Plus (Exynos version Uk) is also settling down after 1 week.

I have done the following tweaks:

Set AOD to double tap
Enable Night Mode
Applied Pure Black Theme for Home and Lockscreen Wallpaper
Optimised Power Mode in Battery.

Pretty strong going and has stamina to keep going a full day with intense usage.

I can see that the Snapdragon variant is a lot more power efficient and people getting even better results.
