My Bionic

it felt lighter than my buddy's nexus s.

Nexus is like 10mm thick

Why are people so obsessed with super thin phones? As long as it isn't thicker than the Thunderbolt a phone is fine with me.

YES! Very true. I say anything thicker than that is out of line, anything thinner than the GSII is just nuts. Really people, it's a big screen, it's got a lot of power, it's thin enough.

You all missed my point. I don't care how thick it is. My point was how thin the GSII is and how it still has higher benchmarks.

looks like a great phone folks! I am going to skip regretfully:( Have fun with the BIONIC BY MOTOROLA!

That's good to hear - I've read that it feels lighter than it looks. But to be honest, weight doesn't bother me. I love my OG's heft.

I think heft is what makes a phone feel a little more sturdy. You want a good sturdy frame that will last. The GSII probably won't last as long as this Bionic, knowing Samsung vs. Motorola quality of the phone itself.

Since when do mm show weight?

Well after reading the reviews for the Droid 3 and the Galaxy S II on Engadget (and looking at the Droid 3 and Charge at Verizon) the only complaint about the GSII by Engadget was it was a little more plasticy and not as well built as it could have been. The Droid 3 they loved the design, thought it was amazing and was absolutely one of the best keyboard Android phones on the market.
Samsung is known for a little less quality in the frames of their phones, while HTC and Motorola are known for good quality phones.

Irrelevant.

Moto and VZW pull this off the shelves, delay it for MONTHS, then continuosly tease us and tell us how great this thing's going to be, then VZW starts the hype machine and when it gets benchmarked for the first time it's irrelevant to compare it to the best current Android phone?

Sorry dude, it is relevant.

Samsung is in the gut. The shell will get beat up yes? I agree, the droid 3 has a keyboard that makes a BB feel fake.
