Maybe you can help me? So I registered my e-mail with Verizon's landing page that said "Be one of the first to own the Droid Bionic".

Now 3 days prior to the launch, they have sent me nothing except multiple e-mails trying to sell me their old phones. Okay, I understand that this is most likely a ploy to gather e-mails or to see how many people are actually interested in buying the phone but it drives me crazy.

So I try and contact Verizon about their landing page and they can't tell me who is responsible for it. Maybe some of you with viral campaign experience can help me track down the person in charge or help me promote the fact that Verizon has sent us nothing even though the phone launches in a few days.

Since they haven't formally announced the phone, I think we just have to wait. Either today or tomorrow I bet the floodgates bust open.

I just called Verizon and the guy said let me see if I have a code so I can pre-order this for you....yep we have a code. Okay well hold on and lets see if this works.....nope. Would you like me to place an order for you 1st thing tomorrow morning if it is available or on the 8th as that is when it launches officially. Bummer.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. The guy told me some things had changed on their page and that I should be able to order. However, no luck Oh well, Thursday morning at the local corporate store it is.

Ok, been pouring over the threads and didn't see this called out yet. Anyone verified or posted what the type/class of micro sd card that's included with the Bionic is? I know it's 16 GB, but wondering if they did a cheapie or fairly decent one...

If you have a Fry's local to you they HAD (may have been a sales price) a PNY 32GB Class 10 microSD for $50 ... picked one up Saturday in anticipation of picking up the Bionic at my local corporate store first thing Thu AM.

It's alright, I believe you I bet it was loading the flash that slowed it down. I'll go play with one on Thursday morning and compare a hotbooted D1 browser (you know that's the only way the D1 ever has 80 MBs of free RAM) to the Bionic.

It's gonna blow the D1 out of the water. Free ram is wasted ram. 80MB or 30MB, your phone should run at the same speed no matter what. It should actually run faster since it will (should) have all of the apps you have used stored in the ram for quicker access.

why not buy it from amazon? or costco? they tend to be 100 to 200 dollars cheaper.

Definitely order from NewEgg of Amazon (or something like that) for a MicroSD card. Prices are far superior to buying in any store (VZW, BB, etc.)

Picked up a 32 GB Class 10 PNY (yes, 1 year warranty which some may not like, but you can shell out the same amount of money for a Class 4 SanDisk) for about $60.

I currently have an OG Droid that has a broken microphone on it. I either have to talk on speakerphone, from what I have been told sounds awful on the other end, or a Jawbone that I forget to take with me wherever I go. I am willing to spend the extra cash on the phone to get it first thing Thursday morning. I have to coordinate with the in-laws in order to get to Costco sometime, and it probably wouldn't be Thursday, nor worth my time or sanity In other words, I want this thing ASAP!

Yes but there is only 4 gig application memory. 8 gigs are for internal storage, and the other 4 gigs are occupied with webtop and the android system. Some people get all mad at this. It isn't a big deal. People will always find something to complain about.

Really? I thought it was confirmed that it wasn't going to be split like that, more room was going to be available for app space. That's a little disappointing I guess.. (I'm still not even sure what difference that makes haha)
