My dog ate my phone.. screen dead but responsive. How can I get my data off of it?

My dog at my phone... screen dead but responsive

My dog ate my phone and now the screen is completely black. However, the touchpad still works. Is there a way I can mirror the screen somewhere else? I would like to do a factory reset on the phone before I ship it in to get repaired. I would also like to retrieve some data from an app if possible.

Hi and welcome to Android Central.

I hope he doesn't get a treat for a month! Unfortunately I don't think there is much you can do. To mirror you will need to first set it up on the phone. You could just try plugging it into a PC and hope the USB mode is correct.

What type of phone is it?
