I've been reading and working on this for several days straight now. I have the proper CyanogynMod Rom to install (zip) It was specifically recommended by someone on the development site. It is on my SD card on my telephone. When I try to install the Rom through ROM Manager, it LOOKS like it is going into CWM backup recovery, it asks me if I want to go into CWM backup recovery mode, and asks me if I want to wipe the data and cache, etc. However... when it actually GETS to the backup recovery, it is NOT the CWM backup recovery, but the standard Android recovery with an error sign and 'Manual Mode' in yellow letters. And then when I try to continue and install the Rom from the SD card anyway, I then get a 'signature not verified' error as it begins to open and read the package.

I have tried a million different things (well, maybe not THAT many... :) ) But, I have really run out of ideas. I absolutely CANNOT get a new Rom onto my telephone no matter what I do.

Any suggestions would be lovely!

Thank you!

Thanks kindly for your reply.

Actually, after reading about MANY different approaches for other people with different issues, it occurred to me to try using Odin to 'Flash' the actual CWM recovery program since it never seemed to update or EVER back up to it no matter how many times I tried. FINALLY... by holding down the 3 buttons immediately after flashing CWM recovery, it FINALLY actually booted up into the CWM recovery mode! THEN... and only then could I properly install the CM11 version and it all went great!

Now, the only thing I'm trying to figure out is how the hell to sync my Google contacts to get them all back :)

Thanks!
