Today was my appointment with ubreakifix through Samsung Members app. I had a issue of a ticky type noise across my screen with light press , thought it was the preinstalled screen protector not adhering to the screen well, until I took it off to replace with my Dome screen protector. While I had the factory screen protector off I was still having the same tick type noise with the light press across the screen , and the reason I made the appointment. I arrived at ubreakitifix they seen my issue and said never seen that before , they told me they can replace the screen under warranty but told me drive a mile down the road to Samsung experience store they would probably swapp for another device. I arrived at Samsung store and the tech their couldn't hear or duplicate it , I told them the tech at ubreakifix seen the problem but still didn't believe me , I made them document it incase something happened they have records I was their for a screen issue. I went to my car was able to get the screen to make that noise and went back in to show the tech about 15 minutes time frame and he heard it and showed a level 2 tech and he said the screen was lifted and needed a new one and be about 1 hour to replace .

I didn't have no touch issues or response problems of the screen with that ticky noise but it made noise. So if anyone experiences this take it in for repair before it becomes a serious issue. Little disappointed they didn't swapp it out but they assured me it does retain the water resistant because the frame and glass are repaired together.

Woah level 2 tech...what level is the max level?lol.

Okay jokes aside.IF Samsung in your area is like SEIN(Samsung Electronics Indonesia)i wouldnt mind my unit being repaired.because in Indonesia SEIN does a very very very good job.they repaired my broken phone a few times before and it FELT LIKE NEW.(S7 and S8)

The damage i had was bent chassis, bent motherboard, cracked screen and so on(i used to be very poor at anger management and i kinda smash my phones a lot)but it took SEIN 3 days to get it fixed.not sure how they did it but the "repaired" phone feels new.like literally...

Goodluck on the repairs.hope Samsung in your area does a good job.

Hahaha..
That's what he said level 2 tech ..lol
When he said that I was waiting for a guy in NASA suit come out and I would have to bow down to his excellence😂😂 who knows what bull this guy was saying could of been him doing the repair lol
Looks like they did good job as I dont see one mark or problem like before and I checked every inch of the device , that way I could have a excuse for them to give me a new device lol.

Anger management? That's why they make boxing bags 😂😂 your poor phones lol

Or you couldve asked for a Lv 99 tech.and the tech is gonna tell you how Samsung is using Plutonium to power the phone and using Vibranium for the screen...

But seriously in Indonesia.Samsung repair has never let me down.and the technicians are all females...i once saw the technician open up my phone so fast i was afraid she would break the back.then she turned to me and said, dont worry, youll get a new one...its like they change parts which arent even broken...

Lol...No he took my phone in the back behind a 2 way mirror they dont let you watch their magic show lol
They even told me when they first tested the screen they have a robotic to apply certain pressure to the screen at different points ..I didn't know how much of that is true but I just flowed with it, wanted my phone back and be done lol.funny thing while I was their a guy had forgot his wallet and paid with apple pay for his Samsung repair 😂😂

In Indonesia you can...with a bit of help of course...

And paying using Apple Pay...the guy should be sent to Black Dolphin...

It's great that you were able to recreate the issue before you left, resulting in the tech to being able to replace the screen. Funny how often issues won't 'preform' for the 'repair person'. But once you get home...boom...it's back.

Nice of you to share your story, I'm sure it will help someone.
