My Facebook is useless after an auto update to my tablet, how can I fix this?

Facebook useless after auto update to tablet

Auto updated on April 1st. When launched, Facebook goes NOT to my Home Page, but to the 'What's On Your Mind' page. There is no escape, the little round 'Connecting . . .' icon circles incessantly, i.e. it is 'hung'. Is it possible to revert to the previous version, and what are the options if not?

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? Try going to Settings>Apps​, select Facebook, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try opening it again. You'll have to login again.
