My Galaxy S7 crashed and won't turn on anymore.

Interesting -- so the battery was ok? Did the technician say why the motherboard was getting so hot? I wonder if the chip itself was starting to fail.

I have the same problems it's been a 2 days now my galaxy s7 still won't turn on an whenever I try to charge it, the battery starts to heat up after 2 minutes. Did anyone here have the same issue and how did you solve it?

Hi , welcome to Ac!

Did you try the suggestions above?

Welcome to Android Central! If the battery gets pretty warm when charging, chances are it's the battery that's failed. Bring it to a repair shop to see if the battery needs to be replaced.

Hi there, I have the exact same problem as you. My Galaxy s7 crashed and never turned on. Although I went to a repair shop and they said the motherboard was fried. Did you ever find a fix for it?

Welcome to Android Central! The fix would be a replacement motherboard. Are you doubtful of the repair shop's diagnosis?

Yep, for some reason very doubtful. I feel like they didnt know what the problem was they just didn't know and gave the phone back. Im almost certain that its a software error because it happened around a week after I did the Samsung software update

If it won't power on no matter what you do, there aren't really any other options. Trying to re-flash the prior firmware would still require the phone to power on. Let me see if @mustang7757 has any ideas.
