My Gear S charging cradle doesn't fit anymore, had to send all to Samsung Support to resolve

AT&T came through, they sent me the cradle and cable for free.

Looks like AT&T is doing what samsung should be doing. Way to go AT&T. ..

Do you have service through AT&T? Who did you call? I don't have service through them I just bought the watch unlocked from them. Maybe that's why?

I do have service with them, I just called the regular customer service line.

And not all the agents are up on all their new items. I always have to stress that it's the Gear S watch phone.

My friend ordered one and it is on the way... I have no issues with getting a deal from overseas if it is OEM or quality. I got my curved screen protectors in 11 days and all my watch bands within 2 weeks. I got mine from Samsung but if these were selling for this price when I got mine I would have gotten it from ebay.

The problem with ordering one from Samsung is that, although they're only $29.99 from Samsung, they've been on backorder for at least weeks. I've been looking to buy one for 2 weeks, but they're still backordered. WTF! So, if anyone decides to order from China or Korea, I'd say go ahead and do it, as long as it's OEM. The price will be good and you'll probably get it sooner than you would waiting on Samsung.

Looks like the Ebay chargers (just bought a back-up from there today) - probably does not include a battery or LEDs.

Why not have a magnetic connector like the Microsoft Surface? Wireless charging would be even better. Would be great if you could just set it on a mat and have it charged. Regardless, just got my watch a few days ago....surprised to find the cradle works no better (and probably worse) than the Gear 2 I had.

They told me they couldn't do the $29.95 item, but if I purchased the $15.28 item off Ebay, send them the receipt, and they will credit my account with a $15.28 credit. I told them to hold on while I purchase it, and send them the receipt right now..

Not a genuine Samsung Dock, but I am quite sure it will work just fine.

Yup, they sure did.. $15.28 to be exact. I shot that ATT sent their customer a FREE one, you are not going to let ATT out due Tmobile. They did a google search and found the one on Ebay for $15.28. They told me they could not go the $29.95, but would go for the $15.28.. I quickly ordered the one off Ebay for $15.28. Let me tell you, this CLONE works great. I am quite sure there is NO BATTERY in there, so no charging on its own. However, plugged up with its USB side, it works perfectly.

When you call, tell them about ATT, and another Tmobile user, got this done for them. All a persuasive essay type thing. Build Tmobile up like the are the 2nd coming of the whoever, then after all that praise, hit them with what you want them to do, how they going to say NO!

Clone on the right.. Like I said, works like a charm..

Right on both counts. The Clone is BACKUP here too, and the CLONE slips on easier then the original.. Just like I have a spare battery for my Note 4, I got a spare dock for my Gear S.

I think to prevent the plastic pieces/tabs from breaking, seat the top (away from the pins at the bottom) in the little slot on the watch first. Line it up, then snap the bottom tab into the watch slot. I think its a mistake to try to line the pins up and then just press down.

It has always been very difficult to clip the charging cradle on the gear s. but all of a sudden yesterday, it will no longer fit at all. So, I was on with support, and they provided me with shipping label ( ups 2nd day ) and i sent them the watch and charging cradle. They are most likely replace both items. The charging cradle, while it holds it own charge, is not the best thought out device, because it shouldn't be that hard to clip it on!!

Could you please share what the outcome was on this? I have owned mine for 4 months now and I am on clip #3 and u contacted samsung and I have to ship mine back.
