I have a MOTO-G phone w/a gmail account. For some reason it seems to keep the incoming email. In the dropdown on sidebar it shows "999+" unread emails. I delete them & they go to the trash bin. Then in the trash bin it shows "999+" emails". I know they store in their food 30 days before I can perm. Delete them, but it seems the next time I check email, the same ones appear again. What the heck is going on here. I know its the same ones I deleted because the date shows up to 3 months back!! Anyone else have this problem, please, I spend hour after hour deleting the same email s??? Really bad for a fairly good phone..

Remove the account then re add it. See if that helps fix the problem.
