My Google Chrome icon is missing, how do I get it back?

Google chrome icon issing

I have somehow removed my Google chrome icon from my nexus 10. How do I get it back please? I thought I could just reinstall it but it seems that is not possible.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you uninstall or disable Chrome, or did you just remove the shortcut from the homescreen? Bring up the App Drawer--is Chrome there? If not, go to Settings>Apps>All--do you see it there? If it's disabled, it'd be in the Settings>Apps>Disabled​ list.

Chrome is still there, no it is not disabled. The problem is, the icon to get to it has gone off the screen, so it is difficult for me to get into it. I think I swiped it off by mistake I just want to get it back for the ease of getting into chrome.

Open the App Drawer, find Chrome, long-press it, then drag and drop it to the homescreen.

The App drawer takes up the whole page, how do I minimise it so I have space to drag the icon to the home screen?

OK have managed to do it now, thanks for your help, I did not realise the drawer was at the bottom of the screen.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried the things mentioned above? Have you looked at my Getting Started guide?

Click Start and type in the search box "Google Chrome". Right click on Google Chrome > Open the file location > right click the Chrome icon and create a new shortcut. Drag the shortcut to your desktop and right click and pin to taskbar.
