I do not want to unlock any thing. It seems very complicated

I just want google to do just like Apple does. Release the updates so that they are ready to install by costumers

My phone still says that my system is up to date even though it is 4.0.1 and the latest version is 4.0.2

Not all Nexus phones are equal. :-( For it to upgrade when Google releases and upgrade your build must be yakju (Google retail build). Many other Nexus phones have a build which has been altered by the manufacturer (Samsung) or the carrier, These builds must come from Samsung or the carrier. It defeats the purpose of buying a Nexus, particularly an unlocked one tat does not have the yakju build.
To fine your build download system info from the market and you will se it there. Most folks who have not gotten the upgrade ar on builds such as yakjuws, or others.
It is possible that you have the correct Google build but just haven't received it yet as they roll out over a period of days.

Just give it a while. Like said above, they usually spread it out over a few days. And the update isn't much anyways, nothing much to worry about :)

Mines a yakju... in the uk, still not updated yet.
I realise i could unlock and manually update but Unless i was having a specific problem or bug.. or if there was a new feature i desparatley needed then i dont mind waiting.

Mine hasn't updated either. I've noticed a few things that have improved on the Verizon model with that update. A app I use doen't crash anymore and, you can turn on "force 2D GPU hardware acceleration" and a app that crashed with that setting doesn't crash anymore..

My build is yakju

I imported the phone from UK and I am using it with at&t and i still did not receive the update

I am starting to get annoyed because of this

weird. I picked up mine on Sunday and 10 mins after activation I got the toggle to update. Guess I am lucky. If it matters I got mine at best buy.

Mine's also a (yakju) and it hasn't updated. Just a matter of time I'm guessing but I agree with the OP, Google should release the update for everyone like Apple does.

Is it actually the 4.0.2 update? Yesterday the same thing happened to me but still on 4.0.1

I have the same "problem" with my Galaxy Nexus (GSM). Ordered in UK and using AT&T. And my version is supposed to be updated by Google but I'm still in 4.0.1. Everything works fine (Wallet, no crashes etc), but I'm worried for the future update.

My phone arrived today from Amazon. 4.0.2 downloaded within the first hour after I activated it. Weird.

So far no one who has got the update have said they were on "yakju" so is it possible the updates are for other versions.

In any case, I'm also on "yakju" and still on 4.0.1
