My HTC My Touch 4G smart phone is experiencing problems with google playstore.

Playstore stops when I try to download apps, often with force stops. I get a message telling me part of the playstore vender app has stopped.

Welcome to AC.

Try Settings, Apps, All, scroll to the Google Play Store app, and select Clear Cache.
