My HTC one is not loading YouTube videos properly

Hi Guys,
I wonder if you can help. My HTC One is very slow at loading YouTube videos. I have read a few threads on forums and it seems like more people are having the same problem.
The speed of my wifi has nothing to do with it because everything runs fine on my laptop.

Maybe because your phone is loading the video In HD? Try clearing the app data from the settings

Think that's a YouTube problem. At peak times YouTube gets real slow. First thing in morning very fast and in evening very slow on the same Internet. So don't think it's a htc problem

Could also be your carrier. I'm using Sprint and at times 4G can go slow. Sometimes it makes me wonder why I bother to stay with them and not switch back to Verizon.

I've been having the same problem ever since I got this phone about a month ago (htc one) and I'm thinking it's playing back videos in the highest resolution, 1080p which causes buffering and slow loading.
Im able to set which resolution I want on a desktop but not the app.
