My HTC One M7 (originally AT&T9) was Unlocked but can't navigate 3g nor 4g only calls, why?

My Htc one m7 (originally AT&T9) was Unlocked but cant navigate no 3g nor 4g only calls

I bougth this Phone HTC one m7 at&t but suposse to be unlocked, but I can only use to make calls using any carrier, but cant configure it to navigate at all!

Welcome to Android Central! What carrier are you using now? Are you sure the APN settings are correct?

Hi I am in venezuela (Movistar is the Carrier) But they try to configure it and they could not, only got to configure the APN on 2G, and said that it seems to be some kind of lock By AT&T, because it is unlocked to make calls by any carriers but not to get Data or connect 3G or LTE! I really dont know what to do

Hi I Bougth an HTC one (at&t) M7 and the sseller told me that was unlocked, ok was certanly unlock but only to make calls, I have used it in several carriers and it work well but can configure it to navigate, cant connect it on 3G nor 4G, people tell me that is because is AT&T and is imposible to unlock the Data. Can you help me please!

Are you sure your carrier is using frequencies that the phone can use? Show them this list:

3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 (Bands 2, 4, 5, 17) - AT&T

and see if it's compatible with their system.

BTW, all I see listed for Movistar is 3G - 1900 MHz UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+
