I think its great but idk why it comes with all these battery draining settings turned on. It took me two-three days of messing around with each settings to get it the way i wanted.

Welcome to AC.

So what settings were you referring to? I have the Sprint version of the HTC One and it had a few settings that needed a little tweaking but it wasn't too bad and my battery life is in the 14+ hrs range every day. I've ran with both the Power Saver on and off.. Not noticed too much difference in battery life...

Enjoy the forums!

Welcome to the AC forums!

The HTC One is a great device, hope you are enjoying it now that you seem (hopefully) to have resolved the settings.

If you think the ONE's battery killing features out of the box are bad you should see the GS4. Some people like to run everything and sacrifice battery life to have all of that crap running all day. You have a great device and I think you will be happy with it!

Yeah but isn't messing around with it for 2 or 3 days part of the fun? It is for me anyway. Welcome to AC.

I'm still messing around with it weeks later after obtaining my HTC One :)

I think the One is the best phone on the market (for me). The screen is amazing and I love the camera features... But again like my last 2 EVO'S I'm having speaker issues.

E mailing htc to see if it's covered under the manufactures warranty
