Hi all
I had a hard time finding the perfect watch face. I still haven't found one with any sort of notification indicator and have spent a bit of money experimenting with different apps... but any how...
I thought I'd post about my favourite for anyone else looking in the future...
First favourite is Watchstyler which is free. Really, really good and hundreds of free faces to choose from at gearfaces.com.
Here's a pic of one of my favourite faces...

Then I found Multi-Watch which is an app you have to pay for but I really like it because it allows you to use it with the faces from gearfaces.com and you can make little tweaks.
(You need to install two apps... one through Samsung Gear for the watch and one through playstore for your phone.)
It allowed me to put a little date button over top of the existing date button on my favourite Watchstyler face and make the date any colour I wanted so it looks like this...

It's only a tiny change but there are heaps of bigger changes you can make too like changing hands styles and colours adding pedometer and all sorts of stuff.
Another thing I liked was I was able to add an hourly chime like we had on the original digital watches... nostalgia...
And finally a big advantage I liked was having another screen for favourite apps when you swipe up... you can put nine apps there... that adds another dimension to the existing left and right swiping app access which I think is cool... here's my extra swipe screen... I like how it looks spacious...spacious

Hope that is helpful to any other beginners out there... I might add additional posts if I find anything else interesting.
