My LG L41C is set for CST but I need it to update to CDT.

I incorrectly chose the option not to update to CDT from CST but I do need the CDT update. How do I get it back on my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! How did you get an option to update to CDT? Was it a system notification? It's strange that you'd be asked if you want to update, since it's supposed to be able to get the correct time zone automatically based on your cell signal.
