My Galaxy S5 seems to think I am in Grand Prarie Texas when in fact I am in Lewis County WA. Local provider.

Mine thinks I live at an address in the next road (UK) but it's only 50 yards out so I'm not fussed. But we're talking about a bigger inaccuracy here aren't we? How far?

Texas to Washington is it? I can beat that. London to Karachi.
My Note 3 went on many journeys in another country, regularly to the same spots. I never pinned it down but suspicion is on the AccuWeather app, or the hardware. It's been fine and accurate otherwise, and since I got a post KitKat 180 mb update here in Europe it's been faultless.

However some have had success with tightening 4 screws inside.

Meantime try using GPS Status and Toolbox, some knowledgeable people find it helps lock on, and can be calibrated. I just have it running.
