I'm trying to follow this thread

in my cmd prompt, at stepp 11, i type "reboot bootloader" and the thread says this:
"Remember how you pushed that huge PC36IMG.zip to your sdcard earlier? This is where that comes in handy. Once you booted into hboot, Select "bootloader" with your volume up/down buttons and hit the power button. Let it sit for a little bit while it loads the PC36IMG.zip. This can take up to 5 minutes. When it finally asks if you want to apply this zip, choose YES."

the thing is, it never says "apply zip" it just asks if i want to update...but i think that's the system update everyone is saying not to accept...what should i do?

In the bootloader if it says apply update, then hit yes, It's talking about the PC36IMG.zip file it just scanned.

System Updates will prompt you while you're in the phone and it's booted normal.

so i did the update and then clicked to reboot the phone and now all it doesn't is go back to the bootloader...the phone won't just start

Gonna be? I already am ...it's more based off who I am though...the sig is just a joke as far as unrevoked goes

i just redid the update and started the phone and it started working...i restored a back up from august because it's all i have and it's a CM6 nightly from back then lol...i need to update to the new one now!

If you got a new phone, then dont restore from different phones. Its bad ju-ju, seriously.
