I've been reading almost every thread I can on here to learn as much as I can about the GN.
I am a current AT&T subscriber and will be removing my sim card from my Galaxy S2 and popping it into my GN, and hoping it is a simple plug and play.
I am on a 2GB data plan and hope to continue to use that and WiFi to cover my data.

It will be interesting to compare my Galaxy S2 to the GN

Thanks!

where and how much did you buy it from? wondering if anyone knows the site to buy the GSM car dock also.

Yes the sim is simple plug and play. Down load Android System Info from the market to find out what build you have and if your updates will come from Google or through Samsung. If under builld info you are Yakju, your updates come from google. If anything else, the come from Samsung. You can flash Yakju (extremely easy to do) and you'll probably get updated to 4.0.2 within minutes.

From an Amazon reseller (located in Chicago) paid $625 shipped ($620 + 4.99 shipping) for a NIB GSM unlocked 16gb device

Sorry not buying a car dock so can't help there

hmmmmm, as long as the phones USB port is a micro USB I should be ok but I am going to do some rearch to see what I can find out

They come with a euro charger. I just used my gsii wall charger. All androids are micro usb to reg usb . So use your computer if you must

My Gnex from Negri came with a US charger.

Thanks for the feedback, I currently have a Galaxy GS2, so it looks like I will be all set (so far anyways) in charging up my new GN ;)

The phone is awesome. No problems lasting the entire day on one charge. Most of the battery issues I believe are with the LTE versions (for obvious reasons).

SteveISU: If my build is not the Yakju, where would I find information about flashing it onto my phone?

So far so good! Came with a US charger, looks like from what I can tell it is a Canada GSM phone. Did a couple of test calls and everything seems ok, although my AT&T signal is not as strong as my GS2.

Following what SteveISU said I am pretty sure it is a Yakju build (using Android System information) or at least I see that in the information? - Although I checked for updates and it said none found, I am on 4.0.1

Download GNOfficialUpdate from the market....that way you will know for sure.

Thanks but I couldn't find any app by that name in the market

Android system info from the market>launch app>system>build info>look down next to product· What does it say?
