Ya my problem is the phone freezes up. Had to restore the phone after a month of ownership. Is it an app, or operating system issue? By the way the restore did work for now...

Are you doing anything specific when it freezes up? Mine only has a slight lag on the multitasking menu and a very apparent delay (sometimes a couple, sometimes up to 10 seconds) when trying to view the last picture taken directly from the camera, especially if I'm using the front facing one (watching the same image from the Gallery causes no delay). Other than than, never a hiccup or freeze up.

Mine will freeze either when trying to make a phone call, or checking the email or trying to use any other app..... after a couple of seconds it reboots by itself and then it works fine ....until next time. Unfortunately there is not a set pattern, it just happens at random times and days....

Must be an app that is causing the issue

Amazing Verizon Galaxy Note 4

I would suggest that you do a factory data reset, then don't install any apps to see if the problem goes away. If it does then slowly reinstall apps until you find the offending app.

Or you can enter Safe Mode (which is basically booting up without letting any 3rd party apps to start) and see if it happens. Remember, in Safe Mode, 3rd party apps do no start on their own, but if you do open an app, it will then start and do what it usually does. It's a good way to pin-point an app that's misbehaving if you don't want to do a factory reset.

I'm texting mostly when I seems to freeze up the most. Sometimes running other apps. Oh especially in kid mode.
