My Note 4 is having a problem sending emails with attachments, can anyone help?

Note 4 Problem sending emails with attachments

I'm having a strange issue.
When connected to my home wifi I cannot send emails with attachments from any email account on the stock email app.
If I turn off wifi the emails and attachments go through fine over the cellular network.
We have several phones in the house (iphone 5s, Nokia 920 and a Note3) and all three of them can send emails with attachments over wifi without a problem.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the wifi router connection and the email accounts but the problem persists.
However when I use the "GMAIL" app the emails and attachments go through.
It appears, unless I am missing something, that the N4 email app is the cause since the GMAIL app works fine.
Problem is my primary email is not a GMAIL account and can't afford to change now.
Can someone out there shed some light on what may be going on?

What email do you use? Could you possibly download yahoo, etc instead of using the stock email app?

You could if you were so inclined forward your non-gmail account to gmail. I currently have 2 other accounts forwarded to my gmail account. Very convenient.

I have AOL, Yahoo, Live and Verizon email accounts. I set them up in the stock email app and can send and receive fine so long as I don't attach a picture etc... I have also set the email retrieval limits to No Limit. Don't care about the AOL, Yahoo or Live accounts. But the Verizon one is needed.

You could if you were so inclined forward your non-gmail account to gmail. I currently have 2 other accounts forwarded to my gmail account. Very convenient.

You can set it within gmail to reply from the original account. Then you can add the other account so you can send from that one too.
