My Note 4 used to group photos taken each day in a group. How can I get that back?

Galaxy Note 4...

When I installed an SD card and selected that as the Camera memory store, I used to be presented with all of the photos I'd taken on each day in the gallery in a group. I could then select the whole group or individual photos which was really convenient.

However, the SD card crashed, and I've installed a new one and am saving the photos on it as before. However, it's showing all of the files in one long stream, so I can't easily see which day they were taken on.

Can someone tell me how to turn the feature back on that shows them grouped for each day?

It groups them by the date stamp on the file. From the sounds of it you had to copy them from the old card to a new one. If you used a computer to do this, it may have set them all to the same date (the day they were copied from the old card).
