My Note 8 battery life is so bad

Have you tried just running in performance mode all the time?
I think it actually gives the best battery life

Do you still have wifi scanning still on? Once I turned that off, battery life improved dramatically.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have it turned on still. What impact does it have on location services to turn it off? I thought it actually saved power as WiFi could be used instead of switching in Gps? I've just turned the Bluetooth scanning off though

I only use high accuracy on rare occasions, otherwise I'll use gps. You might also want to turn off nearby device scanning as well, that's another battery sucker.

I run with wifi / Bluetooth scanning and nearby off on all devices. I keep high accuracy on though. I want GPS and other things to work without issue.

My battery is good even with playing a high resolution game that also uses data constantly (mostly off wifi) for hours.

I purchased my Note 8 last Saturday and from 6am to 7pm I still have 72% remaining .... I'm happy with it !

Yeah battery life is just ok for me. I get around 4 hours screen time for my usage. Hoping I'd get more.

I have had my note 8 for a week now and I am shocked at how great the battery is. I can't kill it. Today, after 17 hours I still have 15 percent. I'm always playing with it and have no battery issues at all.

Very disappointed with battery life, but, I'd never get rid of my Note 8, I just get used to having a charger around. I have an iPhone 7 plus as my personal phone, and it runs circles around the Note 8's battery....but, it'll stay in 2nd place in my life :-D
