My Note 8 battery life is so bad

Yeah....my daily driver is my note 8...but the V30 runs circles around the note 8's battery. :-(

Yeah, but what the note 8 lacks in battery, it makes up for in features. Spen, Samsung pay, screen, edge features, front facing camera, etc.

i think you guys need to post up a screenshot of your on screen time and total on time when you complaining about the battery life so people can help.

How much battery does it drain, say when surfing Facebook or YouTube? Mine drains 1 percent every 4-5 minutes. Is it normal. Sometimes 2-3 minutes. It was worse before I brought the phone to the service centre, to get a replacement for the battery. I was an iPhone user before this and this battery life thing has got me paranoid and keep trying to keep track of the battery life. By the way I'm using a galaxy note 8.

This Note has the best battery out there, hands down. It lasts me anywhere from 14-17hrs with heavy use and averaging 4-5 hours of screen on time. I had the iPhone 7 and it was nowhere near.

This past weekend i had a little over 4 hours of screen on time, with 2 days and 6 hours total on battery, placed on charger with 5% battery left. Today im at just over 3 hours screen on time, 16.25 hours on battery, with 39% battery remaining.

pretty disappointed with my battery a few weeks into my note 8. doesn't seem any better than my s7 edge was.

not sure how to post a screenshot using the app but I'm down to 15% with 2hr 35 screen on and 15hr 11 off the charger. I've been busy with work and the phone has just been sat on a desk for much of the day, with a bit of surfing and music at the start of the day when travelling. I'm sure Google play services is involved with looking for my location all the time but I've switched of location history. no obvious battery drainers, just a poor battery I guess

Do you still have wifi scanning still on? Once I turned that off, battery life improved dramatically.
