AC Question
After a more than 15 minutes travel, I got home and noticed that something inside my bag has leaked. I immediately checked my phone and saw that it got a little wet. Without any hesitation, I tried to turn it on (I just thought that it died because of having a 0% battery). It "opened" but it was just flickering.
Since I haven't experienced something like that before and since I haven't really met someone who really knows what to do, I just adapted my friend's way: using the hair blower. It worked for her anyway (her phone was wet after her daughter swam with it)
As I was blow drying my phone, I realized that the exposure to heat may destroy my phone so for no more that five minutes, I stopped and checked if it is gonna work. (really panicking because I need to talk with someone that time) but then again, it is just flickering.
Now, I just learned that one may use rice in fixing wet phones BUT one must not turn it on or try to blow dry it. Can I just get any additional advice or explanation? Do you guys think that my phone can still be fixed (especially now that I have put it inside a bag of rice)?
