Hi, I love my Note Pro 12.2 and it gets used extensively, every day. I bought it on the first day of release from VZW a year and a half ago and it's been working great.

Now the bottom left corner of the plastic chrome ring is cracked. Also the same place the corner back cover is also chipped. No effect on performance and it's just cosmetic.

Are these fixable? Can I order the parts and change them myself, or do I have to send it in?

Any ideas?

Thanks, S

I talked with Samsung. The only way to fix the cosmetic issues is to send it in. They don't sell the parts. There is also a fee and they reset the unit. I am gonna use it as is. Thanks!

It's not cheap for this cosmetic issue, believe me, they will charge you at least $250 to replace the whole LCD assembly. LCD and touchscreen are glued together, they will replace the whole assembly, never bother to fix if either touchscreen or LCD or frame is broken. Repair centers don't have clean room and equipments to repair LCD assembly, and it's extensive labor to separate the LCD from touchscreen and frame.
