My pattern lock doesnt show up after wake up?

It's been like this for months and I can't fix it, I've tried everything? People can just swipe and it'll unlock. I also have fingerprint lock on but it's Finger + Pattern. I tried looking through my settings but nothing seemed to help at all, any suggestions on what to do?

It could be that you have the lock screen set to activate after too long an interval when the screen sleeps. On the phone I'm using right now, that's in Settings, Security, Automatically Lock, where the time is settable.
