Have you tried force stopping the application? Or clearing it's data in the settings menu? Maybe there is a rogue set alarm that won't switch off. Clearing it's data and just creating all the alarms again won't take you too long.

Either there's some other alarm app set (not likely if it's going off at random times) or you're using the same notification tone for your alarm and some other app (like email, texting, almost anything that can do notifications).
