My Galaxy S5 keeps muting notification alerts and I'm not sure why. Whenever I notice it, I reënable notification alerts, but it eventually just mutes it again. This doesn't affect ringtone, system or media sound volumes, just notifications.
Googling for a solution is frustratingly pointless because all I get are guides explaining how to turn off notifs intentionally or how to use the Do Not Disturb settings; both rather the opposite of what I want.
