My phone won't charge when I switch it off.

I have Motorola moto g6 play my phone is not charging since I switched it off I even tried with different cables

You try letting it charge for few hours ?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you also try different charging plugs? Also, use a can of compressed air to blow out the charge port, or a computer vacuum to suck out anything that might be in there.
