My replacement S Pen doesn't work quite right and it's driving me nuts! (Galaxy Note 4) What should I do?

My replacement S Pen doesn't work quite right and it's driving me nuts! (Galaxy Note 4)

The S Pen that came with my Note 4 was a dream, but the nib disappeared, and now the replacement S Pen I got on Amazon is just awful. It's appearance is identical, and Amazon doesn't usually sell knockoff stuff that claims to be genuine, which this did, but this just doesn't work right. I have to press down to make anythng happen. With the orginal S Pen, I could lightly touch the screen and it worked fine. Now I have to push to activate a link, and keep pressure on it to write.

You can probably tell I'm cellphone and computer illiterate. My knowledge runs the gamut from "works" to "doesn't work."

Help a luddite out?

Did the tip come out of your 1st S pen? If so you should have replacements in the box. Just put one of the black ones in it. What's the color of the tip on your new one?

You know, I didn't GET a box. I just walked out of AT&T with the Note 4 in my hand.

The tip of the original S PEN was white, as is the replacement's.

The tip of the original S PEN was white, as is the replacement's.

So you didn't get a charger as well then?

I did get a charger, but it was in a bag. I'll go over tomorrow and get the tools. They're always great about that kind of stuff.
