My s3 just spomtaneously locked up during a phone call

I spelled the thread wrong. dang. Not only did it spontaneously lock up during a phone call but the screen when black while it was ringing. I tried and tried to unlock it to no avail. after 2 minutes the ringing stopped. now its just dead I put it on my home charger thinking i might have had a low battery and didnt notice but it was at like 70% Im pretty sure. The charger did nothing the phone is completely unresponsive . It turnede off one other time in teh two weeks Ive had it but when I plugged it into the charger it was fine then. What can do I cant call the phone place because its locked up.

Pull the battery out and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Put it back in, you should be fine unless the phone just totally crapped out on you.

Had a similar situation. Mine went black right after pulling it off a charger and never came back to life. I read about a couple of other people having the same problem over on XDA. I ended up taking mine into Verizon, and they ordered me a replacement.
