My S4 active won't turn off and screen time out not working after rooting

Hi please any advice because after rooting and installing the CMW RECOVERY on my s4 active GT-I9295 and trying to change the boot animation and any settings in ROM TOOLBOX and ROOT BROWSER I just noticed that my screen timeout is not working anymore and I can't turn it off. I already tried to factory reset and wipe cache but still not working. Any advice.Thanks!

Can you do a battery pull on this device?

You might have to reflashing the stock ROM with Odin.

Yes screen stays on all the time unless I remove the battery.
