My s6 screen becomes unresponsive and freezes. This happens every 5-10 mins. Any fixes?

When I'm using my phone it suddenly freezes and it has to be restarted for it to be used again. This happens every 5-10 mins. It has irritating to have to restart it every 5-10 mins and it going off in between important work. Is there any permanent fix?

Do you have any suspicious app installed?Try booting into safe mode and see if it still persists.Here's how you can do that:
Galaxy S6 Safe Mode
Power Down Your Galaxy S6
While the Galaxy S6 is Off, Press and Hold the Power Button
When You See the Samsung Logo, Let Go of the Power Button
Right When You Let Go of the Power Button, Immediately Press and Hold the Volume Down Button
Continue Holding the Volume Down Button Until Your Galaxy S6 is Fully Booted
After You Let Go of the Volume Down Button, Unlock the Galaxy S6 Like Normal

The S6 has ram issues. I highly doubt it's a rogue app, how much space do you have left on the S6? Look under the storage tab in settings. Low storage and low ram is hell on the phone.

I have 18.5 GB free and about 800 mb ram free always. I have all system apps only(inluding whatsapp, facebook and messenger which came with the device) and snapchat. These are the only apps I have. I tried the safe mode, but it happens in the safe mode too.

Boot into recovery (power device off, press and hold volume up, home, and power together) and wipe cache partition. If that doesn't work, you're last option is to factory reset if you are sure you don't have a bugged app downloaded.

I've done a factory reset about 5-7 times. Nothing seems to work. Is it possible thats its a hardware problem?

If you've tried it in safe mode, then it shouldn't be a rouge app. The good thing is that it's reproducible in 5 - 10 minutes, so take the phone to your carrier or whoever you bought it from to have it checked out. At the very least the vendor will be able to see it fail in that time.

Welcome to the AC Forums BTW. Sorry you are having issues. Given what you have tried so far, it sounds like exchanging it or a warranty claim is in order depending upon when you got your device.

Both mine and my wife's S6 are having issue. The phone will freeze for about 5 secs and then go back to normal. Very weird. I have about 1GB of ram aval, appeard no rogue apps. It happens anywhere, browser, apps, home screen. Can't figure it out!
