My s7 is not running vulcan..and im nougat..

Hi...i have an atnt s7 (not edge)..its unlocked now..since im in the philippines.. and while playing HIT.. i noticed i can max the settings..and its said that only vulcan api phones cna run this on max.. so how come? Since all s7 nougat phones run vulcan?
