my samsung note 5 screen got frozen like a month before but responds to only s pen what can i do?

Its now 1 full month when my touch screen is not responding to my hands only responds to s pen.am worried that it will also stop working .

I would try to backup all data and do a factory data reset. But honestly it sounds like the digitizer is damaged which will need to be replaced

(The S Pen isn't a "plastic finger" - there's a separate layer in the screen that responds to the pen. If that layer is okay, but the digitizer - the front glass - isn't working, the pen will work but your finger won't.)
