My sidekick won't play any sound without headphones?

I've tried everything. For some reason my sidekick won't play sound of any kind without my headphones plugged in. I checked to see if it was on silent, I checked the volume levels and I even did a hard reset of my phone. What is wrong with it? Please help me.
