my son as dropped his tablet and all i can get is lines across the screen what do i do?

my son dropped the tablet and it doesn't turn on to the main area just as start screen and nothing else. have tried to reset it, let the battery go dead and try that way and have not worked

Unfortunately most likely the hardware was damaged, and the only way to fix it is to take it to a repair shop.
