My sonim xp 7700 screen blacked out and red led light on

[Android Central Question]

It was at about a quarter battery life when all of a sudden the screen went black, phone would not turn back on so i plugged it in and tried again.. Still wont go and led light is red and flashes real fast for a few seconds once unplugged.. Does this mean the batterie is no good?

Welcome to Android Central! Keep it plugged in and charging for at least 6 hours undisturbed. Then try powering on again.
